Pablo Blasco Ladrero specialises in researching and developing sector benchmarks aligned with the Paris Agreement goals, focusing on chemicals, plastics and renewables. He is also part of the Climate Action Tracker team, contributing to the assessment of national climate commitments and policies. Prior to joining NewClimate Institute, he worked as a project officer for the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency in the Innovation Fund programme. He holds a Master’s in Sustainability Science and Technology from the Polytechnical University of Catalunya and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor’s in Physics from the University of Barcelona.
