ELEVATE aims to develop scientific insights to support the preparations of Nationally Determined Contributions and national climate policies focused on achieving net-zero emissions in line with the Paris Agreement.

The project is developed by a transdisciplinary consortium of 20 national and international climate research teams interacting actively with policymakers and other stakeholders in climate policy and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Under ELEVATE, NewClimate Institute develops and updates the Climate Policy Database, which will serve as key inputs to various climate policy scenario analyses conducted in this project.
