Tracking the progression of INDC preparation progress worldwide, and sharing knowledge for best practices in INDC preparation.
NewClimate Institute was funded by UNFCCC and UNDP to track the progress of the preparation of Intended nationally determined Contributions (INDCs) of countries worldwide in the run up to COP21 in Paris, and to synthesise the experiences and lessons learned in INDC preparation. Regularly updated quantitative and qualitative information on the (aggregated) progress of countries’ preparations and their experiences were shared through a public information website, knowledge sharing workshop sessions, and the publication of concise reports on best practices for INDC preparation.
