This side event at COP30 discusses findings from the 2025 Net Zero Stocktake, the widest global review of climate pledges by governments and companies. It also explores the role of nature in achieving net zero targets, and the growing reliance on nature-based carbon credits.

This event is co-organised by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) and the University of North Carolina (UNC). NewClimate Institute's Prof. Dr. Niklas Höhne will be part of the speaker panel.
