Together with International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and FTSE Russell, NewClimate Institute analysed climate mitigation efforts in several major emitters.

We assessed expected emissions change rate in the coming decade under current policies and compare those with emission decrease necessary to keep global warming within the limits set in the Paris Agreement. We compiled emissions trajectories for the period between 1990 and 2030. We also assessed progress on key sectoral interventions to identify opportunities to accelerate emissions in the period post-2020.
