Ritika Tewari joined NewClimate Institute as a Researcher in 2015. She has a breadth of experience in the field of climate and development; and market based approaches. Prior to joining NewClimate, Ritika worked with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in India where she was a core team member of many high valued studies. These include WRI-TERI-CII’s India Green House Gas Programme, flagship projects with Africa Climate Policy Center (UNECA) and Norwegian government supported study on Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions. She has also served on the UN Panel on the CDM Policy Dialogue as an Expert Advisor, supporting research on impacts of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).

Ritika holds Masters Degrees in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, UK and in Natural Resources Management from TERI University, India and has spent time at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Yale University, USA as a post-graduate fellow.
