Jamie Wong is a climate policy analyst at NewClimate Institute, based in Berlin. He works on projects related to the quantitative analysis of GHG emission trajectory scenarios and emission reduction efforts, with a keen interest in the co-benefits of climate action and the synergies between climate and development policy.

Jamie holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering with Management from the University of Edinburgh and a M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology. He completed an internship in Indonesia where he worked on transitioning rural farming communities from firewood to biogas cookstoves. For his Master thesis he combined insights from justice literature and sustainability transitions research to investigate the development of renewables in Indonesia.
