Niklas Höhne discusses China’s new climate target on Radio Bayern 2. The announcement from the biggest emitters, China and the United States, to set more ambitious targets one year ahead of the 2015 Paris Climate Summit is a very important political development. It is clear however that both could significantly improve over these new pledges.
More detailed analysis of China’s and the US’ recently announced climate change targets are available from the Climate Action Tracker update.
